Southern Oaks sits in the foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains where Pico Canyon Road begins to wind through the hills to the west. This is outside of the City limits of Santa Clarita in unincorporated Los Angeles County which makes it a great value in terms of property taxes and no Mello Roos.
