Studio City Housing Market Recap

Below is the current home activity for sale in Studio City for single family residences in the past 30 days.

There are currently 97 active Studio City homes for sale in a huge price range from $449,500-$9,900,000 in which 13 of these are Short Sales.

There are also 4 homes listed as Short Sales, but they are in backup offers ranging from $599,000 – $1,150,000.  In the case of a backup offer, this usually means that the seller is allowing backup offers to be submitted on the property, while the lien holder(s) is pending approval.  There are also 17 homes in backup offer status that are standard sales.

Additionally, there are 20 homes in pending status and scheduled to close in escrow.  These range from $350,000-$1,679,000 at their list prices.

In the past 30 days, there were 18 homes in Studio City that sold. These homes widely ranged from $415,000-$5,000,000 and had an average sale price per sq.ft. of $413.  The homes averaged 79 days on the market and 93% of their sale price over their list price.

Studio City is bound on the south by Mulholland Drive.  The western boundary is a combination of Coldwater Canyon Ave. and Fulton Ave. where it intersects Ventura Blvd.  The northern boundary is the Ventura Freeway, and the eastern boundary is roughly the Hollywood Freeway.
